well i just got my vaio tz50b from pricejapan, i ordered it on monday and it arrived on friday so thats pretty great service! the screen is simply brilliant and i highly recommend it to anyone wanting a laptop for a great screen. for anyone who already has one, put the 'ribbons' screensaver on and let it play - you really see the colours when you do it. i find the keyboard very easy to use and it has great tactile response - im typing from it right now.

the black finish works really well but can pick up many fingerprints, just one question, i have set the keyboard layout to english but obviously it is a japanese keyboard, so how do i get a backslash?

i live in the uk, no the 1seg tv tuner is useless here, do you know if another one can be inserted or it can be converted to work elsewhere?

simply because it is much cheaper, i know performance wise it is slightly less good (1.2ghz celeron m) but cannot currently afford tz90 and keybaord etc does not really bother me.

Sorry to bump up the thread, I did just see a nice deal for a TZ50B, shame it has the Celerom M processor and Japanese keyboard. I wish there was a way to buy the TZ cheap, and as you fatten your wallet, upgrade it as you go. Oh well.
