so i bought the new sony package from amazon with the N27 tip and it seems no better then the N4 that i was using before. it is the tip kensington recommended but? of the three the N14 actually seems the best. anyone else try these?

" eems no better", how? "eems the best", how?

The N4 [not 14] does work but Kensington says that the N27 matches the power requirements for the SZ more closely. Given this I see no reason why anyone would not use the N27 unless they were in a pinch and couldn't get their hands on an N27 tip.

Yes the Kensington adapters do feel a bit loose because all of the straight-line mass behind it as opposed to the right-angle tip of the original Sony charger.

Just one of the quirks of the Kensington but my Kensington 120w AC/DC with built-in 110-120/230-240 converter is still half the size and half the weight of both the iGo and the original Sony so I happily put up with this drawback.
