This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    laptop to TV connection

    I have Sony vaio VGN N365 e which has VGA port. I tried coonecting VGA to S-video and RCA port on TV but TV screen remains blank. Is there any other set-up i have change. My laptop has only VGA port and TV has HDMI, S-video and RCA port.

    after you connect the cables you need to setup the other display under the display properties
