    my left touchpad button on my sony vaio vgn-nr10e laptop doesn't work.
    can you tell me whats wrong and how to fix it.

    Anything happen to your laptop before the button stopped working? Did it fall or was it taken apart?

    no i haven't done anything to it i just turned it on and it didn't work it's starting to work now.

    exactly this is dirt. Now I wonder should one take it to a pro or open and clean himself!

    yeah its dirt but i'd just take to sony cos i've still got warranty and it's just easier.
