The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    anybody tried linux on vaio yet? I got a SZ340 and want to add linux but i'm not sure if it will recognize the wifi. I use fedora 5 on my desktop but before installing i just wanted to have some idea if theres a linux version that will recognize the card. if anybody knows a way or has tried, please tell me :rolleyes:

    You can first use Linux live to try out linux without needing to install it. Then you can probably see whether your wifi card gets recognized.
