Hi,
Can I have some advises on a lite laptop for travelling, and why you suggest that?
Thanks in advance for any help-Rob

I travel 4 days/week, and I carry the Vaio TX650. Less than 3 pounds, fast, great screen, great battery life, etc.

Are you only looking at Sony? Also some more details would be helpful, like budget.

not necessary, I have about $1500 budget.
Thanks-Rob -
You should get the vaio s-series. They are small and lite (4.5 lbs) enough for travel but do not comprimise keyboard size and performance like the smaller laptops do. I have a 460 that I am happy with, and I take it around all the time.

Check out the Fujitsu S2110. 4 lbs. 13.3" screen. Here is a recent review by one of the forum members. I'm considering it myself.

Just to add: you may want to check out the Fujitsu P1510D. 8.9" widescreen, less than 2.5 lbs. My housemate, who is a travelling vet, is using it for business. Very nice unit, great screen. But the keyboard & the screen is just too small for me. It is selling at $1399 at PortableOne.
