I am trying to use this mouse with logitech setpoint, but setpoint doesn't recognize the device. BT stacking that came with the FZ picks it up. I tried to delete the drivers for it after it was picked up, but setpoint still didn't recognize it.

Also, I got this mouse because alot of people said that it doesn't lag, but i notice it lagging whenever i play games, ie wow. will se point fix this or is it just something that is unfixable with a BT mouse.

nope, the only time it lags is when it idles for more than about fifteen seconds (i'm guessing at this time the laser turns off to save power), it'll lag for a half second when i initially move it but then stay solid and fast. and since i'm always moving the mouse especially while playing games, the lag never comes into effect.

Setpoint does not recognize it, because setpoint expects Microsoft BT stack, while sony is using Toshiba BT stack.

I can not comment on V270 game performance, but in normal usage it seems to work fine.

I have notice one issue, when system wakes up from sleep, then BT does not recover properly, and therefore mouse remain inactive, till I recycle (switch off and then on) my bluetooth connection and then connect mouse again by doing switch off-and-and-then-on. Anybody else had this issue?

i don't notice the same problem after waking the computer from sleep. it takes a few seconds before the mouse is recognized again though.

is there any way to change from the toshiba stack to a better one like widcom? i've been trying to search all over these forums for it, but it hasn't been very helpful. i've read setpoint for the v270 fixes alot of issues for the mouse.

The widcomm stack can be done but its a royal pain and not for the feint of heart. I'm a professional programmer with 20 years experience and it took me 4 days to get the widcomm working right. I'm going to be doing it again this week on a replacement FZ190, and will try to make sense out of the process and document it. If you want to play around, start with the modified SZ drivers found in a thread on this board.
