    looking for high end Sony VIAO

    Can someone suggest me a Sony VIAO laptop with following features

    1) 15.6 inch with 1080P Screen
    2) 3rd generation Core i7 Quad Core Processor
    3) 8GB RAM
    4) GTX 6XX or HD7XXX GPU
    5) Backlit KB

    In addition it should be glossy and beautiful in looks

    i'm pretty sure if you'd bother to go to the Sony Vaio website, you'd find only one computer that meets your criteria. I mean, if you're seriously looking, you'd think that'd be the first place you'd check. :thumbsup:

    In Sony VAIO website it just provides the model # in the product section. But there is no search critera where you can select a model using the above provide specifications

    just goto products and select notebook for you to show the list of available notebook. I hope it helps :D

    The GPU criteria is going to put you out of range for what Sony offers as of now. The closest model they sell that offers 90% of what you are looking for is the S series, which comes with the Geforce GT 640M LE.

    The 15" model of the S will meet everything else short of the GPU. If you are comfortable enough with making some tweaks or software adjustments, there are users in this thread that have been able to change the clock speed on this particular laptop's video card so it performs closer to a GT 650M or even a GTX 660M.
