    Hi,
    is there any program for sony vaio's that can control cpu speed manually? I have also an dell inspiron 510m and there is an utility (speedswitchXP) for this purpose. I am looking for such program in sony brand.

    There's a general program that can be used to control the CPU speed. It's called notebook hardware control.
    It's free to use and it works great with my sony laptop.
