How's the microphone on the Z, it's mounted near the palm rest on the Z I believe? Is it any better than the SZ? How far from the speakers are they?

The ones I had on my SZ were often problematic at loud volumes, you get that echo which is very irritating.

    Anyone care to comment?

I haven't done a full test yet but I think it worked pretty well when I was chatting with my friends using Ventrilo (hands-free mode). The speakers are above the keyboard (near the S1, S2 buttons and the eject button) and the microphone is on the right-side of the wireless hardware switch so they're pretty far apart.

the microphone on the SZ was mounted at the top of the screen yet it still had echo... I hope the Z does not have such problems
