and its very loud!
The fan on the SZ-23 keeps spinning no matter what settings i change it to (as long as the laptop is on), even when i set CPU fan to minimum in power manager.
Whats wrong?

Hi er12345,
I believe the fan doesn't switch off.
You may try to go into the BIOS to forcefully switch off the fan, but I believe that was done to protect your computer.
By the way, are you using the computer in Speed mode or Stamina mode? -
Use Notebook Hardware Control and monitor at what CPU temperature and speed the fan starts increasing rpm. In the CPU Speed settings use Dynamic Switching for AC and battery power, and select the correct power scheme. -

However since its been installed: three times the laptop failed to restart from standby, the laptop turned off by itself twice and once after I had put the SZ to sleep, came back home. A few hours later I tried to start it: the battery was completely flat.
I've removed NHC last night: not a single issue since, so I'm fairly confident it's the culprit as I never had any issues before i installed it
my SZ fans keep spinning and spinning....
