I don't know what's wrong with my laptop. but it keeps freezing.

I can still listen music and move mouse but anything else doesn't work at all.

I have experienced this about 10 times for a mouth of usage.

    It drives me crazy.

    Any advice?

    Check for Spyware?
Reinstall Windows and take out the 'bloatware'.

Same thing on mine. The windows manager keeps locking up. This happens in both Fedora Core 6 and Windows XP with the Intel gfx card activated.

Windows: Kill explorer process via Task Mgr and restart helps.
FC6: Any login, including root hangs so I hit the power button and reboot.

I cannot get it to boot past udev with the Nvidea card running.

I can't even kipp explorer process. no keys works..

I had to just turn the laptop off by pushing power button for 6 sec..

I think I have to semi-clean install xp
