    my sony vaio s sometimes freezes when browsing

    I bought this sony vaio s in december 2010, now it starts to get annoying because sometimes the screen would freezes (not responding) for a minute or so just from browsing the net. why is this???

    You have not provided enough information. Perhaps you have a virus. How much ram do you have in your computer? It might time to reinstall your computer.

    i just did a full scan and no virus found

    1. Is the HDD LED on at the time it freezes?
    2. What are the CPU and GPU temperatures?
    3. If it is only the browser having issues, try another browser. If that solves your problem, disable all addons in your current browser and re-enable them one at a time to identify the culprit.
