    Hi.

My notebook was working fine at work. It has ubuntu Feisty. I shutdown as I headed home. When I got home, I plugged the notebook, powered it on, but it will not power on. The battery is charging according to the led light blinking. but the notebook still will not come up (it is plugged in). I followed the instructions in the sony website if the power will not come on. Pressed power for 15 secs...nothing....removed battery, then adapter...pressed power for 15 secs...placed adapter back in...still nothing :( While presing the power for 15 secs, the power an battery leds were blinking at a second interval.

any ideaas? what in the world just happened to my vaio? it's just a year and 1 month i think, will they let it slip warranty (1yr no extended plan)? Need some advice.

    Thanks
