Hi I have a vgn-fw485j and had to take it apart to replace the palm rest, the bottom casing has a wireless switch screwed, but there was never any wireless hooked up to it... prior this event, before i had to repair the pc from a broken mounting bracket the switch was working which controls if i want to turn off the wireless enter or leave it on, but now it seems alittle on the loose side and its not touch anything... going to post a picture in my next post since its large

    thanks

looks like i found the problem its located on the motherboard, looks when i pulled the bottom casing off it must of snaped the pin switch that goes in that slot on the switch... kind of gay i have to replace the whole motherboard now, but if anyone knows how to fix a thin tiny pin that will be helpful, thanks
