    Hi,
I have VPCZ213GX/B but in the last few days I noticed that the level of battery charge is decreases rapidly, and also I noticed that the processor fan is still working even when I use a small application like (Firefox, MS word,....etc). so, is there any way to solve this issue for example to make my vaio work on stamina mode?

    Thank you,

Step 1: start task manager and keep it minimised in your system tray. The icon shows CPU usage, so you'll notice if the usage rises, and then you can check which app is using CPU resources.

Step 2: monitor your CPU and GPU temperatures. There are dozens of utilities on the net for measuring this. OpenHardwareMonitor is just one of them which also has a graph of temperature history. Set this to run at startup and keep track of what's happening.

If the CPU usage is not very much, but the temperatures are high, some cleaning of the air vents and fan may be required.

I can't see your attachment. Please upload the image to a suitable host and post the link here. Postimage.org - free image hosting / image upload for instance.

According to our forum rules, new members can't attach files. The method I've shown will work for you.

No good. CPU usage is showing 25%, which is not normal, unless you are doing something intensive. Click the column header twice to sort the list by CPU usage, and then see which app is hogging the CPU.

Sorry, I'm on Windows 8. You misunderstood my reason for asking you to click twice. Sort the list by CPU usage so that the highest values are at the top of the list. If you can't see any values other than 0, check the box for 'show processes from all users' at the bottom of the window. Your latest picture shows that the CPU usage at that time was 27%. You should see values in the CPU column that add up to about 27%.
