    new laptop, best way to 'start off' Battery?

    i just got a new laptop, this minute, i want to make sure i get the most out of its battery (its a sony vaio T 2 series) i have it plugged in at the moment, should i leave it plugged in and charge to full, then discharge it until force shutdown, i dont know what to do!

    Like most laptops, you have a Lithiom-Ion battery. These batteries do not have a memory affect like NiCad. Just charge it and keep it charge. Never, never let it deep discharge.

    I tried to find this info on another forum where they said you have to discharge it totally at first ;-( I found out later, at some battery sites, NOT to do that. I think I've lost a little time already off my new battery.
