    new vaio option: hybrid hard drive or not?

    it doesn't make much of a difference. though the decreased start up time seems pretty significant. i'd love to be able to boot up windows vista in only 20 seconds. i thought only macs booted that quickly.


    (another interesting point about that article is which drives have better performance and lower power consumption. any thoughts about that?)

    My i1520 boots in under 20 seconds with a traditional hard drive...

    20 seconds to get to the login screen or 20 seconds till your at the desktop and can start up a program ( like firefox )
