    whats a nice place to buy a sz? preferably somewhere i can configure it and get some accessories. im about to give up on my dell m1330 T.T

    www.portable1.com is where I ordered my SZ680 from. They have options to upgrade to 7200rpm hard drives which Sony doesn't offer itself.
    I'd check them out, great service too.

    If you buy a system from a retailer that swaps out Sony components then their components will not be supported by Sony. For example, if you are having a stability issue that possibly implicates the hard drive you will have to go back to the retailer for support of that drive.
