Read the instructions on LV2G. Use the modded inf.

    No one freaking does this.

Actually, I did not use the modded inf - I just dl'ed and installed the driver and it works fine. There is a thread in the forum over there that states you don't need a modded inf for a Sony.

But, yes, dl the driver and follow the instructions on how to install and you should be good to go.

Does your folder where you have the driver files contain a ORIGINAL_INFS.ZIP file? If so unzip the contents of that file and let it replace the INF files in the driver folder. Then try the install again. I just had to do this a couple of weeks ago. The existing INF files in the driver folder seem to work with the FZ4000 but if you have an OLDER model like my FZ190 you need to use the ones from the ORIGINAL_INFS.ZIP file.

I have the FZ340E with nvidia 8400GT as well. Does this update improve anything? Thanks.

Well, normally the improvements are for newer graphics models.

I usually don't upgrade drivers when my graphics card runs just fine with the drivers I currently have... but that's me :p

There isn't really all that much benefit to getting drivers released after 167.43. Best thing to do is to pay attention to these forums and to see what people have to say about ones that come out.
