    i am condidring getting a new sony c series nootbook

    i was planning on an hp envy first but with no word on the refresh yet for the 14 inch model i started looking else wear

    1 thing i want to ask about specially is why there is no ssd option offered ? does it fully support it ?

    You can install an SSD yourself.

    how about the build quality and build errors ?
    and most importantly the trackpad

    its my first sony ever

    is it GOOD or am i better to wait for the envy

    and the most important thing is the battery... do they last or will i see 50% drop after couple of months

    Like Rachel said these things were just released. I don't think people even have them in hand yet. Wait a few weeks for reviews and impressions to trickle in and try to find one of these in the stores and see for yourself.


    On a somewhat related note, I'm tying this message on my 5 year old C-Series and it's a very solid built computer. I found my C to be a good entry level Sony computer at the time and now it has been relegated to download duties. The SSD in this computer boots up faster than my Z! lol

    that's because the RAID drivers take forever to POST... ><. Sigh... my zippy hardware slowed because of darn slow software...

    although thank god i don't experience 25+ blinks like some other people had a while back.

    ok i am waiting a little more then


    still considring the choice between 14' 900x1600 and 15' 1080x1920
    was amazed when i saw the battery life is the same

    and with possibilty of slice battery like the EA series... this can be really amazing deal
