ey there
i am condidring getting a new sony c series nootbook
i was planning on an hp envy first but with no word on the refresh yet for the 14 inch model i started looking else wear
1 thing i want to ask about specially is why there is no ssd option offered ? does it fully support it ?
-
You can install an SSD yourself.
-
how about the build quality and build errors ?
and most importantly the trackpad
its my first sony ever
is it GOOD or am i better to wait for the envy -
and the most important thing is the battery... do they last or will i see 50% drop after couple of months
-
No-one has received one yet on here so it's difficult to give you user feedback. You can though look to some reviews and that's for the CA because i haven't come across any CB reviews.

Like Rachel said these things were just released. I don't think people even have them in hand yet. Wait a few weeks for reviews and impressions to trickle in and try to find one of these in the stores and see for yourself.
On a somewhat related note, I'm tying this message on my 5 year old C-Series and it's a very solid built computer. I found my C to be a good entry level Sony computer at the time and now it has been relegated to download duties. The SSD in this computer boots up faster than my Z! lol -
Achusaysblessyou eecs geek ftw :D
although thank god i don't experience 25+ blinks like some other people had a while back. -
lol
ok i am waiting a little more then
still considring the choice between 14' 900x1600 and 15' 1080x1920
was amazed when i saw the battery life is the same
and with possibilty of slice battery like the EA series... this can be really amazing deal -
so did any 1 get 1 ?
openions on sony C series
