    i am ordering a new z1290x:
    i7, 256g ssd, 4g ram(self upgrade to 8g later), 1600x900 and metal shield with win7 pro. :D

    and i have one question concerning the large capacity battery. :confused: how heavy it will be with the z, and how long it lasts on normal use, dvd playback or gameplay.

    I have an I5 with large battery, and HDD, it weighs 1,53 kg and i get

    - normal use 6-7 hours
    - Avi file playback 5 hours
    - Gaming 1h30, 2 if you're lucky
