    so...after months of waiting seems like sony parts website is online again, but online ordering is not available, only phone and email.

    so can any average joe call them and place an order? i was planning to ask my cousin in the states to order for me.

    I know for some of us who replaced our sony SA/SB CD/DVD drive with a hard drive we were able to order the bezel direct from Sony. I would imagine that you can order these parts without being anyone special!

    yes, but the site for consumers is this one:

    the professional sony parts site was down, but the consumer one was always up and yeah, you can actually find the parts, add them to cart and get them shipped to your cousin's house if you want (through the site i linked you)

    im planning to get some dual ssd cable for my vpc-z1 from sony. i also happen to misplace a couple of screws at the bottom, what will be the correct part number for it?
