    pcg-k33 battery issue

    hello all,
    I bought my laptop from ebay a few weeks back and when i recieved it
    I checked to make sure everthing worked and all was good except it did not have the factory OS on it and the processor was registering at half the speed that it was,So i ordered the cd and when it came I installed it
    and now i have a huge problem!

    The battery does not work and will not charge.It registers as being inserted and says it has a 30% charge and is charging,but if i disconnect the power the computer shuts right off like there is no battery,it never goes past
    30%. The battery was giving me 1 1/2 hrs. battery time before i installed
    factory OS,I have talked to sony tech support and they said to download and update all drivers and it would fix the problem,but it hasn't.

    any thoughts,suggestions,or solutions are greatly appreciated
