    Hi,

Usually, you can import pictures using an image editing program like PS or something. A quick and easy way is to use the Scanner and Camera Wizard that you can launch from Exlporer. If you click on 'Webcam' in the Explorer window, you should see the camera image in the right hand pane. However, you must NOT have this image open while you launch the wizard, otherwise you'll get the following message:

Creation of the video preview failed. etc...

Click on any folder _other_ than the Webcam, then right-click Webcam and it should pop up a menu. Select "Get pictures" and that should start up the wizard and you'll see the camera preview.

    Skrunch.

Just discovered this myself and its actually pretty simple. When you open up the webcam in "My Computer" if you look to the left in the explorer window you will see a link that says "Take a New Picture". When you click on that it snaps a still and you can see it just below the webcam stream, with the default name Picture_001, Picture_002, etc... Just right click on the pic and save it wherever you want.
