    hey guys..
    i am new member and a foreigner i am a tourist in usa..
    i have a question maybe a trouble for me;
    i have just bought a new sony notebook from bestbuy store 3 days ago in myrtle beach, sc..
    but i have problems with it..it cd rom works very loudly, and its harddisk isn't 100 gb as indicated, its about 86 gbs.
    what can i do?
    i want to change it with a toshiba, i can pay the difference..can it be?
    please help me..

    The reason the HD is at 86GB versus the 100 is the recovery partition. Sony puts all of the recovery on the HD, and you can burn the recovery information to DVD's or CD's and then delete it if you'd like to recover the extra 14GB's.

    Also, with the CD drive. You havn't told us what model you got so we can't help you with what might be the problem. Good luck mehmetumer.
