wlan always worked flawlessly with my vaio sz VGN-SZ1VP, but some weeks ago it started to make problems: the wlan indicator starts blinking from time to time (it seems to start blinking faster as wlan traffic goes up and then sometimes it stops blinking again) and everytime when I'm working a lot over the wireless connection the system suddenly freezes completely. only a hard reset can help. whenever the system is frozen the wlan indicator is in its blinking state.
I've installed sony graphics related updates some weeks ago before the problem appeared, a new intel wireless driver, a new sony bios update and a new bt stack from sony/toshiba. but also rolling back to older driver and bios versions and also rolling back to an old switcher version doesn't help!

    PLEASE help!

Hmmm...interesting to hear this report. I have been ignoring for the most part until I had more time to tinker with it, but I have several wlan issues with my SZ. For example, when it comes out of hibernation, it never picks up the network it used before, it just searches and searches. I have to restart the system. Also, sometimes it just loses the network and then will not repick it up. I cannot pinpoint when this activity started, but it does happen more frequently now. Also, unrelated, I keep losing my audio drivers for some reason. I simply re-install and everything is ok again. Strange.
