    Hi All,
I have the S13p and the nvidia GPU. because of poor framerates at 1600x9 and medium settings at 10fps, I have dropped down to 1366x900 with results only increasing to 14fps. I have added the game into optimus, any idea on what is wrong?

    Thanks!

First go into VAIO Control Center,

    then go into Power Management
    then go cooling fan control
set speed to Priority to ventilation

I'm getting really nice fps on all low settings at 1600x900, medium was playable but I prefer higher fps than the xbox 360.

What does this mean? have you switched to the beta nvidia drivers?

force the game to run on GT640M... this graphics card can run medium/high details of BF3

Thanks kardon! looks like turning the fan to priority fixed things up for me.
