    poor performance on CA

    Guys, I am having some trouble with my sony ca. I get pretty bad FPS in games. I tried updating drivers for GPA but this is my first ATI notebook and looks like I do something wring. Can you give me step-by-step instruction?

    And what are the accompanying numbers?

    shogun 2,witcher 2. >20fps on any settings

    Hmmm, the only thing I can think of is this:

    1. Drivers need to be updated. Can't really help you here as I don't have a CA.

    2. The games are just too high quality for the graphics card. On low settings though I would imagine they would both run smoothly.

    3. Powerplay isn't enabled. Right click on desktop and click graphics properties (or navigate your way to catalyst control center). Under the power label is powerplay, click that and check-mark the box the says enable powerplay.

    Let me know if #3 is the culprit.

    What video card does your CA have ? 6470 or 6630 ? Also do you experience poor performance in all games or just one or two ? If the later is the case, then it has to do with the AMD drivers and only the Intel HD 3000 graphics being used.
