    power management problems

    i did a reformat with the disks i created and now the only things im able to turn off is the disk drive. before it would show the other devices.. is there anything i can do for it to show the rest of the things? ive already tried to install it again a couple of times. doesnt work

    Unfortunately I can't be of much help...but have to say that's one of the strangest things i've heard. Are the options there but greyed out so that you can't adjust, or do they just not appear at all?

    Maybe you should try Sony's tech support, might be worth a shot.

    i know , its bugging me. the options are not even there. i mean, i get around 7 hours of battery life with just surfing , taking notes, and aim, but i wonder how much i could get if i actually could turn off more things.
