    Hi
i have a vaio ar11s and have had a power outage whilst i was pasring some important files, now when i try to load windows it says c:/windows/system file is corrupt, please try repair of windows cd,
i tried this but the repair console does not detect any hard disks (not sure wether its because they are sata drives)
so i took the primary hard drive out and put it in an external casing, so when i put this via usb in my other comp it detects a drive but cannot access it, it justs asks if i want to format it,
windows detects it as a "raw" partition, does anyone know how i can access this
    thanks
