hi, sry for the post. ( i search the forum but couldnt find anything that could fix this issue ).

i got a vaio VPC-F113FX (accordinly with sony vaio check model option).

and i wanted to do a full clean instalation + install the windows 7 ultimate that i have (vpc-f113fx comes with home premium ).

i created the recovery disk before for "safety".

the install went well, but after that. i cant install all the drivers on sony webpage. i mean, there are 3 drivers in device manager that cant get installed ( the installation of those appears to be OK, no error message when i try. but they keep yellow on device manager )

the message on device manager are:

    Base system Device
Unknown Device (in the details appear to be chipset)
and i think some one related to marvel network driver

accordinly with ilfuca's post i should do something like that for all yellow stuff on device manager:

but, where i can find those zipped drivers for my VPCF113FX, as in the sony driver's homepage, i can get only them at exe state and cant descompress to try a manual update.

or what i could do to get all stuff working?

    anyway, thanks in advance.

Do the clean install again using the recovery discs:
Vaio_F_Series Windows 7 64-bit Clean Install Using OEM Recovery Discs
After the clean install with win7 home premium you can fill in your ultimate key in windows anytime upgrade and after a reboot you are running win7 ultimate.
I have done a regular clean install and the clean install with the recovery discs and the 2 method is much easier and also results in a clean and fast system without any bloatware and you don't have any problems with missing drivers ;)

    thanks Gandalf_The_Grey.
did what u said exactly and cancel the recovery at "the restart drivers".. some extra reboots and it is working perfectly... ( installed those software with vaio care, for the especial keys)..

just a doubt, the key "vaio" is normal to be associated to the "mute" function after that?

dont rember what was the function of that key before doing the clean install..

    Good to hear
When you have the factory install the "vaio" key launches Media Gallery (a Windows Media Center alternative).
Unfortunately there is no way to use program the "vaio" key for another function. It is now a "mute" key.
That's normal for a clean install.
