    problem with my sony pcg grx690

    trying to figure out what is wrong here. i have to wiggle and wiggle the female plug coming from the power supply unit in order to make contact and charge the battery, because if it isn't in the exact right position there is no contact. later i have to balance a book on the jack to keep it in the full contact position. i imagine the problem is with the male part on the laptop itself (?)... any hints here.?

    try a similar charger..... if that doesnt charge then problem is with your notebook plug
