    hello
    i have sony vaio vpcsc1afm cw mb : A1820714A 3002454
    I bought a new motherboard is compatible with the old motherboard , end has been installed in my sony
    new Motherboard informatio, : MBX-237 i5-2410M 2.3GHz CPU A1820714A
    After replacing the board their is no backlight on the LCD .
    With that in the old mother board it works normaly
    I have read in the net forums about "pid switch"
    help me please ...

    It's possible you blew the fuse when you installed the new motherboard. Did you hook up the LED screen while the laptop battery was inserted and or the power cord was plugged in?
    Take detailed pictures of the motherboard near the LVDS connector on both sides of the board to possibly locate the blown fuse. Refer to this thread for more details on backlight issues.

    Well anyways why did you replace the motherboard. I believe you said there was back light on the old motherboard, right? Also test the back light fuse in the new motherboard with a multimeter just to be sure.
