Was just curious since I didn't do a clean install and only removed a few programs from the factory-preinstalled assortment.

My results after idling a while after startup

    ~100 processes
    ~1.3 gb/ 3.68 gb ram used (35%)

It'd be nice to compare these numbers with anyone else. (Please mention clean install)

    Thanks

Clean install on my desktop = 73 processes (and that's with A LOT of junk installed)

    1.90 gigs in use

A clean 7 install is about 800-900MB of RAM usage.
