I'm considering purchasing a Vaio Z but had a question about the hd's. Are they normal 2.5" and would there be any reason I couldn't replace both of them with normal notebook drives. ie new 128gb ssd and 1tb platter drive? Then run the ssd as boot and the platter as storage?

Also, what are the specs on the 128gb ssd drives that ship with the z1190? There's such a huge range of ssd speeds, are they decent drives or would you be better off with something aftermarket?
