    Hi,

    Both RAM should be at same "Mhz" & "size" for dual channel operation.

    Is it corect that : "512M+512M" is better/fast than "512M+1G"?

    That's correct, in order to make use of the dual channel, the ram needs to be the same speed and capacity. But whether or not 1GB will be faster than 1.5GB is a tough call, depending on what you're running and the rest of your system.
