    hey.

I have a sr190 with vista home premium. I'm wondering if I have a clean (non sony) version of vista home premium or any other vista version, could I download drivers from the hardware's actual site and if it would work.

So for example, I have a webcam. Could I find hte model of the webcam and download the driver from that site instead of sony support? Same thing with my ati graphics card and the chipset, mobo, etc.?

    Thanks.

    -Jeff

PS. I would prefer NOT to convert the 290 drivers for my 190.

You have to download most of the drivers from Sony support.

Verify if you can see any drivers in: C:\Windows\Drivers
