I've had my FW for over a year now, and it is bloated and buggy, and I believe it is time for a fresh start.

Recently, I purchased an Asus netbook for my wife and I noticed that the drive was partitioned into two. This makes perfect sense, I'm assuming, so that a user can reinstall the OS on one drive, and keep other items stored safely in the other drive. Awesome!

    So, my questions...
How much space should I save for the OS drive?
Can I load all of my non OS software on the non os partition without problems?

    Any other concerns?

    Thanks!
    Jeff

Or... now that I'm thinking this through, it wouldn't be so much that I could reinstall the operating system, as much as I could possibly reformat the OS side while leaving the non OS intact?
