i need some help. i purchased my vaio laptop at compusa, it is a VGN-A150. i bought it in 2004. i have never had a problem with it the entire time i have had it. i also bought the TAP extended warranty for $500, it was supposed to include a replacement sony battery. i was under the impression that it would be a new battery, i was wrong. the battery that they gave me makes my computer heat up to the point i can't have it on my lap! it also runs slow and now all of a sudden my wireless doesn't always work. they gave me a refurbished battery, not even wrapped or in a box. the guy at compusa had to force the battery to fit. i looked the battery up on the internet and not only is it cheap, it doesn't say it is compatable with my computer. is the battery going to ruin my computer? i know that sony says to use genuine sony batteries, what should i do? i am sooo frustrated with this and my calls aren't getting anywhere. please help!

A refurbished battery is completely unacceptable.

Ask them for a full refund and or replacement.
