I have a C240E/B, which is a U.S. model comes with the Vista Home Premium. The Sony U.S. site provides no XP drivers for it (and even it does it won't be a complete set anyway...Sony U.S. site had never provided all the drivers/utils that I needed base on my past SZ experience..) but I managed to get the XP drivers & Utils from the Sony Europe site.

You just have to figure it out which one is your closest counterpart with XP drivers. In my case, I used the VGN-C1Z/B XP drivers & Utils set (I believe C1 are all the C series comes in XP favors). Drivers and Utils come in two zip files, which is really nice cause in this way you won't miss anything. Keep in mind that because these are your closest counterpart's drivers and utils, it might come with something you don't really need to install like in my case, I did not install the BT driver and the Go7400 driver cause they did not come with my C240E/B (I really hope they did..). And also, remember to install the KB835221 hotfix first otherwise the audio driver will not install (this is mentioned in the instruction actually, just in case you miss it.)
And seenu_star, you can always use the recovery discs to recover your system even the HDD is completely wiped. And installing OS without media..I think if your HDD is not wiped yet, you can press F10 to get into the HDD built-in recovery thing to do the recovery.
regarding C25G/B
