Hey guys, I just try to install a fresh vista business on my sz480n. I'm wondering if the product key on the bottom of the laptop works? by the way the original OS on my laptop is vista business, same as the one i'm going to install. If yall have experienced or got some suggestions, let me know please. Thanks a lot!

The product key ont he bottom of the laptop is for the OEM version of Vista Business. It SHOULD work fine - worst case you may need to call Microsoft to reactivate but if this is the first time you're reinstalling shouldn't need to do that.

First of all, thanks for Mobilehavoc's help above.
if you want to re-in, it pretty much sounds like you don't want to keep your old system and you want a new fresh vista instead. And you probably don't want to have two vista business intalled in your hard drive. And I guess you don't want the old system to ocuppy your space. coz the original laptop has 10G + trash installed. So, if I were you, i would format my HD. that means everything intalled will be gone. but you will have a freshy and sexy vista without trashy afterward. :D :) Actually, this is what i'm going to do. BTW, don't forget to download drivers from sonystyle.com if you are going to do so. finally, visit Mobilehavoc's help thread for more support.

install vista is easy, but you may want to visit this page or if you are not sure which case refers to you, i suggest you to visit this page.
