    The full HD screen is available in the US currently only on the most expensive signature edition with glossy premium carbon lid.

    High resolution meaning 1920 x 1080, and Best Buy does not carry that.

    Did you miss the words "high resolution"?
    I.e. he's asking about the 1920x1080 models, and not the 1600x900 models.

    Other than the signature series, nobody knows when the FHD screen will be available in preconfigs or CTO's.

    This was the primary driving factor that made me go for the VPCZ11FHX/XQ. I could have lived with less RAM (already have an 8GB kit) and without the bluray drive.
