    release date on santa rosa sony SZ?

    i don't know much about sony but read a while back on gizmodo that sony was releasing the santa rosa sony sz soon but can't find anywhere when

    anyone know a real date?

    also, will the sony sz have hdmi? i have read in places that it does and other places say it doesn't.

    i know the old sz doesn't have hdmi or dvi but im hoping the refresh will. deciding between the xps m1330 and the sony sz - whichever one i can get first is the winner, whether on ebay or anywhere available.

    Thousands of posts have already discussed it. Please, do some research.

    Regarding your question: yes, sony will probably update the SZ line (we expect it to be by the last week of this month - or even one week before). Sony has decided to skip the SZ5 series (found in Europe) and go with the SZ6 series.

    It should include the Santa Rosa platform and a couple of minor changes. Don't know about hdmi ports...

    Also, New York City will hold a Sony Vaio event next week. Let's see if we'll have good news.

    How durable are the SZ notebooks? I'm trying to decide between a CR, and SZ, or a Lenovo Thinkpad. Any thoughts?
