    replacing an old Sony latitude c400 HDD

    it is 2.5". I have a 2.5" drive here that is from a different laptop. if i install it in the C400 should it work?

    It will work if both drives are parallel ATA interface and the C400 is not password protected.

    I don't think Sony had a Latitue C400, Dell had it.
