for some reason my vista premium sz's right click takes like 7 seconds at least to bring up the r click menu the first time i do it if i have done it in a few minutes. Wasnt doing that before, but i dont have any spyware methinks... any ideas? AVG's update program wasnt working well for me because its set too early, so i uninstalled it. Im thinking maybe some of its "scan this now" entries are still trying ot be loaded when i right click and maybe thats whats slowing it down. but i went into the registry and couldnt find jack. any ideas? any good reg cleaners? Im so terrified of some freeware program "fixing" my registry that i hope you guys give me really confident suggestions

Right click where? On your desktop? Notepad? Browser? It all depends on what you have on the drop-down menu... AVG has a couple of options on a d-d menu so it might be that - but it's fine on windows XP,

Try to remember when it started happening and see what you installed on that day (System restore)
