    regarding the 2380 sony is listing std battery life at 1.5-2 hrs (sonomas seems to decrease vs dothans) -- how do the std and ext batteries compare in size and does extended stick far out in back?

    It sticks out, but because it is angled -- therefore it will raise the back of your laptop -- it really doesn't stick out very much.
