    Hello People,
I am on the verge of pushing the button to purchasing the base S13p since Sony UK is offering the free sheet battery (more worth it than half price ram imo). I fully appreciate the extra runtime.

I've seen this model various times in store, it's overall the perfect laptop for me, the keyboard is good (not as good as thinkpads), the trackpad is one of the best PC trackpads I've used and it is built well. However my gripes were, poor speakers, sub-par screen and so-so battery life, but I can live with these problems.

However I now know the reason why the screen isn't as good as it's supposed to be, the 'premium' screen is actually the same as the 'plus' screen. Here's the chat log. http://i.imgur.com/ry1Wa.jpg
The two models I compared were the custom model SVS13A1C5E vs the ready to ship model SVS13A1X9E and yes both are the premium models (gold vaio and same dimensions) but both use the ''same'' 1600x900 screen albeit marketed differently, one as premium and the other as plus.
