I know the port replicator for the S series supports DVI, but here's my question: would the s260 be able to support an external 19" LCD at 1280 X 1024 native resolution? I'd appreciate it if anyone with direct experience could answer. Just got an S260.

Also, a separate issue, about the laptop screen. Although the screen is bright and clear, I've noticed that there is a sort of vertical patch of brownish/greenish color in each of the two lower corners. I did check out a couple of display models and they seem the same. Is this universal? Trying to figure out if mine (and the 2 others I saw) are defective, or if this is normal. If so, what causes it ? My GR 370 didn't have this problem.

Thanks for whatever advice you can give.
