    hi i have a sony vaio vgn fj 270, and i can't find the webcam , i can't find the hardware, it was workin well, but i don't know what happend, n i can;t find a software to download,
    can anybody help me ??

    Have you ran windows update and downloaded all optional updates?

    Or was that what caused the problem?

    if you just go to the sony website, and go to downloads or support.
    you chose your model and the camera utility from the list of "apps" and drivers.
